Paul Kang - Director

Paul Kang joined HPEA in 2001. Prior employment includes: PAMA Group in Hong Kong SAR managing portfolio investments; GE Capital in loan syndication in Hong Kong SAR; KPMG in Hong Kong SAR in auditing; Levy Gee in the UK in accounting. He is a graturate of the University of Manchester in Law and a Chartered Accountant in the UK. Mr. Kang is registered as Licensed Representatitve of HPEA with SFC in Hong Kong SAR.

Edward Corcoran - Director & President/COO

Mr. Edward Corcoran is the founder of MAEH. He has over 18 years of experience in waste management. After working for Waste Management International (WMI) in the Chicago (US) area for eight years, Mr. Corcoran was appointed the General Manager for three and a half years at Hong Kong Green Valley Landfill, which is one of the most demanding and most successful operations run by Waste Management International (WMI). Mr. Corcoran has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University in USA.

Aung Htun - Director

Aung Htun is the founder and Executive Chairman of Thai Strategic Holdings Ltd, a Thailand focused private equity investment and M&A advisory company. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Seamico Securities Plc, an investment banking and securities company that he founded in 1987 after returning to Thailand from London where he had been working in the M&A team of Kleinwort Benson since 1982. He took Seamico Securities public in 1995 and expanded the firm organically and through acquisitions overseas. He is a director of a number of public and private companies and a director of the Asian University. Aung has an engineering degree from Imperial College and is an Associate of the Royal School of Mines.

Henri Aboutboul - Independent Director

Mr. Henri Aboutboul has been the Managing Director of the ChemWaste Operations for Waste Management International (WMI) since 1990. Prior to joining WMI, Mr. Aboutboul spent 19 years with Monsanto Co., the US Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company. Mr. Aboutboul is currently the non-executive chairman of the Board of Cinram. Mr. Aboutboul holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Lausanne in Switzerland and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University in the USA.
